With the generated media box open, look for the Keyframe Time line at the bottom. If you can't see it, drag the window bottom to make it bigger.

Create a new keyframe (+ icon) at the end of the event, and change a setting - maybe start with progress slider.

This means the way it looks at the end is different to the beginning, and Vegas interpolates so it animates from one to t'other.

Play with any sliders, colour settings etc - there's no limit ......

I don't have a Keyframe timeline in the bottom of the Video Event FX menu (the one that pops up if i rightclick and select Edit Generated Media). The only place I have a keyframe timeline is in the Event/Pan crop menu.

If you're sure it's not across the bottom already, dragging the bottom of the window downwards to enlarge it should bring it into view.
