Animation Using Pan/Crop

I am fairly new to using Video Factory. I have been having a lot of fun trying the different features it offers. One issue I have, is when panning on a still photo - starting at a full picture and zooming in, it keeps on zooming until it eventually fades into the next picture. Is there a way to adjust the effect to where it will zoom in and then stop for a few seconds before the next picture?

VF only allows you to define the start and end conditions - you can't stop half way. What you can do is put the same still in twice, without the crossfade, and then zoom in on the first copy. Once you've got that ok, note the position and view details from the end and enter them into the second copy. You can adjust the copies independently to display for as long as you want.

Thanks for the help, I've already done that, but hoping for a better way.

Better in what way? Is there a problem with the quality, or do you want something quicker? The quality was fine for me (I couldn't see the join!), but if you're going to do this a lot you can save the zoom and static conditions as presets. After that they can be used very quickly.

I assume better like in being able to use keyframes to hold the picture instead of splitting it into more media to keep track of. For that you need to upgrade to Vegas. It doesn’t get any better in VideoFactory.

Thanks for all your input. I meant "Better" as in one picture to edit and control vs two side by side. It works fine, just thought maybe I was missing something.
