I'm working on a six track (three each of video/audio) project. During playback on my computer, I want to click the mute buttons among the three video tracks to compare the preview (usually, what I'll do is turn on two of them, then click the uppermost on and off to easily switch preview between those two tracks).
For some reason, VV30 wants to select ALL tracks when I only click on one. For instance, let's say I have video on tracks 1,3, & 5. I'll light up tracks one and three (one is now viewable in the preview window). To view track three, I just mute track one. This works for two or three switches, then, for some reason, VV30 will select (or deselect) all six tracks. Once this happens, muting or unmuting track one will simultaneously mute/unmute the other five tracks. The only way to get back individual track selection is to stop what I'm doing, click on one of the tracks (somewhere away from the mute/solo/etc buttons) which selects that track (deselecting the other five), then start my process all over, muting all but those tracks I want to be able to preview.
I have found no reason for this. It's not because I'm holding down control or some other key by mistake when I click the mute buttons.
Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions?
Thanks.
