Another DNxHD question

After re-imaging my work PC, I now have my QT presets in my render options. I have also reloaded Avid LE 2.3.8 and extracted the file to my documents and then loaded the file BUT they are not showing up under my QT presets. Did I miss a step? When I open the folder, it is still the setup file. I have run the setup, but it doesn't seem to change...

Sorry you missed this, it's been covered several times.

DNxHD (or another Avid codec) is not a built-in Vegas Template or Preset, because it does not come with Vegas. Once installed it is a Custom Video Format in the MOV container. Once you have set your parameters, you can save them as a custom templates, as I have.
