hoping someone can clarify this for me:
using DVDA3. Got a movie w/ 8 chapters, and I'd like my menu to have a Play All button, as well as individual chapter buttons that will play ONLY the selected chapter.
If I render my movie as 8 segments, then the Play Chapter buttons are easy, and the Play All button is a Playlist, which, as we know, can act squirrely with the Next/Prev buttons on some players. Problematic.
But if I render my movie as one long file, the Play All button will be no prob, but the chapter buttons present a quandry. My intuition is that if I drag the file into the menu 8 different times, then I can set 8 different in/out points on the movie. The question is whether DVDA will actually render all the different selected chapters of the movie seperately & in _addition_ to the main movie, or will it just use the in/out points as pointers to the one file that's already in the project?
