Another question

I have a clip that needs to fit in this place between two edits. I want to put a clip there but have Vegas figure out the playback rate to fill the space exactly. Can Vegas do this?

You want the entire clip to fit, or you just want the entire space filled with part of the clip?

Hi Kim,

You can paste the new clip in the hole with ripple-mode off, then Ctrl-drag the right end of the event to the size of the hole. The speed will shift "fit to fill".
