Another question about Slide show timing

Hi,

How do I select a group of pictures and set the time for them? I know I can do it with the mouse but is there a way to select, let's say, three pics and set their time to 1 second or less? In other words, I want to be able to set the time for a group of pics (or just one) to an exact number.

TIA,
Fred

If you have snap to grid enabled then it's easy to stretch/shrink individual pictures to 1 second, 2 secons, 5 seconds, etc. depending on how far you've zoomed in.

A technique that might be useful for you is a way to change the length of mulitple pictures simultaneously. If you select a range of pictures and Group them together, you can then Ctrl-drag the end of the last picture and they'll all stretch/shrink together. The way i most often use this is to select all the pictures, group them, then Ctrl-drag the end of the last picture to line up with the end of the song. That way you don't even have to worry about the original lengths much at all (keeping in mind that the limit is shrinking to 0.25x or stretching to 4x). This way, if i have a song that's 3:27 and i have 49 pictures, they all end up being 4.224489796 seconds and fit the length of the song exactly, no thinking required.
