Another text question

This may be a really stupid queston but here it goes.

I want to put text on the same track as the video so it follows the track motion for the video. I have put the text over top of the track but it blacks out the video on that track. How do I make just the physical text show up with no background so the video track can be seen.

The text MUST be on a separate track or it will REPLACE the video. Put it on the track above the video and then make sure you put the same keyframes on both tracks.

Alternately, you may be able to use the Parent/Child relationships to add a third (parent) track that controls the motion for all child (text + video) tracks.

The text would have to be omn a seperate track. That is why you have the black out.

What you *could* do is have the text on a seperate track so that you have the see-through text, render that portion of the video, then use that rendered clip and apply the desired track motion.
