Enough new features and performance boost (Win 7 64) for me to jump from 8c to 9e. Looks like the Sony upgrade price is around $235. In the past I recall seeing discounted upgrade for Vegas from B&H or Video Guys, but not now. Am I missing any deals?

Is Vegas Pro 9.0e officially supported for Windows 7?
I know many folks here are running that way, but unless it is "official" ... if you have a problem ... and if you can find them (wait .. that's the A-Team) ... if you have a problem you may have a trouble getting support from Sony.
Im on 8.0c too. It's working so well I hate to mess with it.
I was waiting for 10 too. But usually new versions come around NAB (April) and this year all we got was 9d. I'm guessing it will be at least six months and maybe a year til we see 10.
I upgraded both my computers in the last few months to Win 7 64 and decided to see if there were any performance benefits to going with Vegas Pro 9 64. So I installed the trial version. My renders are 50%+ faster for the same files with Vegas 9 64 vs. 8 32 on the same machine. And Vegas no longer crashes when I add multiple .mov clips (from my Canon 5DII & T2i) to the timeline. (Previewing those .mov files still s*cks in Vegas, but at least the program doesn't crash & close when I try to edit them.) Those two reasons were enough for me to upgrade.
Try the trial version on your computer and see how it goes.
