youre better off shooting 24p native, OR 60i... this way the pulldown service is mathematically in sync with the frame rate differential during interpolation of fields into actual frames

*- Some cameras shoot fake 24p (e.g. cineframe). In that case, doing it in post will give you better quality.

If the camera is shooting 24f or 24p, then it will be better than trying to convert from 29.97fps interlaced to 24fps.
