Well, for one, while not a "plugin" Photodex's "Proshow Producer"
(I don't think Gold can do it) is able to create very nice slideshows
and export to uncompressed avi files. Pictures to exe (wnsoft),
another excellent slideshow program can also create avi files that
you can import into vegas. They both allow all sorts of great motions
etc as well as captions with all sorts of special "text effects". Both
are quite quick to put together good looking slideshows.
