Anybody edited Sony DSC-T500 720p?

Has anybody tried to edit video from a Sony DSC-T500?

Specifications say video is: 1280x720(Fine), Approx.30fps and mp4 (MPEG4 AVC/H.264)

MP4, however, can be many things - a camera, that I just tried couple of weens ago (Samsung NV100HD), also made "mp4" output, but it could not be opened with VMSP pro 9.0a.

So, before I order a DSC-T500: has anybody tried to edit video from it??

Try to find some test footage online to test it.

Have searched for more than an hour before I made this post - found a lot - however when people upload "sample footage" to the internet, then they tend convert/ compress the footage beyond recognition first - and then they say: See here: this is a video sample from camera xx... :-)

But, Eugenia and others: What I want is a small camera that can record in better quality than SD - but I will not take the full step to 1080x - so I thought I should look for something like 720x (hoping that it is faster to edit, preview and render) - maybe one of you can recommend one??
