ANyone else having this problem with their Shuttle Pro?

Own the SHuttle Pro 2 and had issues with it from the start, especially with the jog wheel. The original setup made things (at least for me) only advance or go back 1 frame. Not 1 frame at a time, but 1 frame ever. So you were stuck b/t those 2 frames and couldn't go elsewhere until you move your curser with your mouse.
I had reset it to take over for the altleft and right to job forward/back 1 frame and things seemed to be working okay. It still seemed to forget how to do this, and I'd have to go into it's control panel and adjust any setting (didn't matter if it wasn't anything to do with the jog), then it remembered.
Now it's pretty much not doing anything. Tried adjusting the settings, but nothing doing. It only moves if I give it a real hard good spin. As everything else seems to work on the shuttle, I'm guess the jog wheel itself is to blame now. Does the same kind of stuff happen to anyone else out there? Pretty shoddy workmanship if this is the case.
Someone mentioned Spot had a complaint about his shuttle pro, but I just did a search and found nothing.
Any thoughts or experiences? Thanks!

Mine's fine and doesn't have this problem. Have you downloaded the latest driver?

Try chanong the preview window settings. This can have an influence as Vegas ignores the next/previous frame command while it's rendering the current frame.
So on a slow PC or where you've got a lot of FXs or tracks it can get very sticky. The other problem I sometimes have is the Shuttle app doesn't 'see' what app has focus so it just defaults to the Global settings. All this I can cope with.
What drives me nuts is the way it causes Vegas to switch tracks, this always happens when I'm trying to trim a track but when I hit the play button and the TL window has lost focus nothing happens natch so then I have to get focus back with the mouse but invariably the video track isn't selected.
I just wish there was a way to ensure that the Shuttle ONLY worked in the TL window and if the TL window has lost focus then hitting any key on the Shuttle shifted focus back there.
