A free app EasyVCD lets one burn a loopable CD using menu controls. LabPRO can do it too, most all high-end DVD burning apps that let you reprogram the controller keys will loop.
It is an audio CD and I'm not sure why the heck I didn't think of telling them to simply use the repeat function on the player. I just immediately thought, well if you can do it with a DVD surely you...thanks Kelly.

Actually a CD that automatically loops after it automatically starts is a preferred method in many situations.
Many businesses use an inexpensive CD player connected to their phone system to provide Music On Hold audio. This might be music, music interrupted by an occasional "Your call is important to us......." to pure promotional audio offering product or service descriptions while you wait.
On a power failure, the inexpensive players reset. When the power is returned a non-menu audio that loops will start by itself and loop without human interaction. Standard CDs will not do these things. And power failures happen often happen briefly at night. The next morning the user is unaware the Music On Hold source is not running.
