Vegas has very few hardware compatibility issues.

If the card is working well with Windows normally, it should work with Vegas.

Does the Delta 44 fit your needs? Are you recording? 5.1? I wouldn't upgrade unless I needed to.

I have been using the ATI FireGL V5100 version of the card you asked about. In over a year and a half I have found NO problems of any kind with ANY software that relates to the card. Your card uses the same drivers, if I remember correctly.
