Thanks for letting me know Dave T2.

Can you have the shuttle "speed up" to the max shuttle speed or is it just a steady shuttle speed as you turn the dial?

Me too - they work well.

Great product, I cannot edit without it, and yes it speeds up to max as you turn the dial also the middle dial is frame by frame no matter the zoom level on the timeline.
You can also configure all the 15 buttons to whatever you like.

the best $100 I have spent in along time.

thanks Paul B.

What about this product that's half price? Is it just fewer buttons?

I have both, the Pro and the Xpress. If you just want a shuttle with a few programmable buttons, the Xpress works great. You can find them between $30 and $40.

So appreciate your feedback, Dave and Paul...very helpful. Just picked up the Contour Xpress on Amazon for $40.

Will this work with all versions of Vegas? As in, those of us who have 11 and 12 but still love working in 10...

The Contour Shuttle devices work in most video editing programs and all of the Vegas versions.

You can also change the max shuttle speed in all versions AFAIK.

Yes it will work with all vegas the .pref (the file that controls the buttons) file is in the vegas folder, you can install it from the control panel or the shuttle software, you can also create your own and save them for the future.
