When I do the chroma key fx,or other fx, as mentioned earlier on this forum, while viewing back in vegas as soon as it gets to the chroma fx section of vid it seems like it gets a little slomo action happenin.Once I pick preview in player it looks fine.
I have actually had this with other fxs being used in vids.
What is happenin here?
I am running a dual pent 1 gig with 7200 drives(30 gig) with 3 sticks of 256 and matrox dual moniter vidcard.
Really confused on this one.
Thanx all for your help.

Keep in mind that most of the effects add an enormous amount of extra
work for the processor to do! Playing back from the timeline means
that the processor must attempt to do all of this work in real time, and
often it just can't keep up. Previewing from the timeline is intended only
to give you an idea of what you've put together.

To get a good playback, you MUST render. That way the processor gets
to spend as much time as it needs to properly do all the effects. Once
the render is done, then all you'll be playing back is a straight media
file with no extra processing.

You can "pre-render" small sections of the video if you want to see
just that part of it quickly.
