I do run it under 95 and 98. I have not run any benchmarks, but I do
achieve a higher track count here as well. By higher track count, I
mean stressing Vegas with nothing but a large number of tracks each
with a long wave file. It gives me an indication of the increased
thoughput of the RAID vs standard IDE.

This kind of use is not what non-linear editing and Vegas are about.
Faster disk access will let you stream more simultaneous files, but
other factors can reduce this - CPU load through FX and format
conversion will always play a roll in the what you can or cannot do.
