I just came across someone selling the Datavideo DAC-100 analog-digital converter. I can't find much information on the web (other than the manufacturer's page) and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this unit.
I'm ready to buy the Canopus ADVC-100 - but wasn't sure if this would be a better unit. I'd seen some comparison charts that showed the DAC-2 vs. ADVC-100 as relates to signal fidelity - but other than that, I don't see much.
I also don't know if the DAC-100 shares any of the componentry with the DAC-2, so it may produce far less stellar results. It seems like it is positioned to be a direct competitor to the ADVC-100 (right down to the 100 in the naming) as the specs are almost the same, although the DAC-100 says it contains a comb filter (which I don't see a mention of for the Canopus, but they may have one too.)
Thanks.
