Here is a list of refurbs if anyone is interested. They carry the same 1 year warranty as any other Mac product.

I would advise against an Apple refurb. Our last Mac was an Apple refurb and after the extended warranty would have run out (didn't buy it) it started having serious problems (5 crashes/lockups a day due to a bad motherboard, that's still $700 to replace, even as outdated as a dual 1.2GHz G4 is).

Others may have had better experiences, but we'll never buy another Apple refurb, and I'm questioning the wisdom of getting another Mac since I've had less than $200 in repairs (one new motherboard) to 4 PCs in the past 5 years, and none crash, ever.

Just my opinion, fwiw.

One thing I enjoy is Free life time repair on 100% of my PCs that I run.
Part labor no charge.

Buy AppleCare on eBay, that is a really good deal.

I love the Apple ads.

And if you see one and you'd rather not watch it, TURN TO A DIFFERENT CHANNEL.

There's way too many whiners on here.

I actually like apple's ads as well, this one just struck me as hypocritical.
