Apply certain event FX to selected clips

I thought I had run across -- years ago -- a script that would apply a string of event FX to selected clips on the timeline. My current problem is that I have a multicamera shoot with two cameras that had slight differences (one is a GL1 and one is a GL2). The multitrack edit is done and all on a single track.

From the Project Media, I can right-click on one camera file, select "Select Timeline Events", but can only change the event FX for a single instance on the timeline. I'd like to be able to change, say the color curves and levels.

Does a script exist to do this?

The Ultimate S2 script will do this. You can create any number of FX preset chains and then apply them or remove them from the selected events.

If you need to apply the FX to all footage from a certain camera, you can try and add the FX to the media in the media pool and then any/all events that uses that media will have the FX applied. You don’t need a script to do this.

Okay... that does it. I've been wanting to buy Ultimate S for a while and this clinches it. <fumbles for credit card>

Thanks, JohnnyRoy. Didn't know about the trick to add FX to the media pool.

UltimateS is certainly a good way to go, and you'll be able to LOTS of other things.

There is also a script called "MultiFXAssigner_10.js." It is Copyright (c) 2004, Folding Rain Filmworks Inc., author: Joe Howes. You can find it here:

I apologise if this has been covered, but I am interested in the UltimateS software.
Is version 2 a whole different plug to version 1, or will purchasing version 2 give me everything that 1 has to offer plus more?

Thanks,

T

Purchasing Ultimate S version 2 will give you everything version 1 has plus a whole lot more.
