I had the same problem with Vegas Studio Plat 9.0 and solved that by upgrading the software from the website.

When I click on architect, the hour glass appears, then disappears and then nothing happens. I have tried opening the program through different locations, same problem.

I also tried uninstalling, reinstalling from both the provided dvd and the website. I have followed the suggestions outlined for the same problem with Vegas only nothing works. Any suggestions?? I have lots of memory and my comp meets all specifications.
