architect and widescreen

i have an MPEG2 file that was rendered from vegas as widescreen. Do i need to do single movie/widescreen in architect, or if i just do single movie, will architect automatically recognize the material as widescreen and make the adjustments if i just choose single movie and pick the MPEG2?

You need to tell DVDA that it's a widescreen file.
File - Properties - General. Select NTSC (or PAL) Widescreen.

DVDA will automatically build the appropriate aspect ratio VTS based on the mpeg, widescreen or 4x3. Menus are created in 4:3 or 16:9 based on the project properties.
