Hello Nanjil:

In my install of DVD-A Pro 5.2, the generated music is added as follows:

From the main menu, choose Insert/Generated Music.
This launches my Cinescore Studio:Generated Music window.
From there I can choose various musical themes and variations.

I don't think Cinescore comes with Vegas Pro or DVD-A Pro. I got Cinescore Studio as a package deal with my Vegas Movie Studio 9.0 Platinum ProPack. Check to see if you have (or had) Cinescore. My installs all reside in my Sony folder, so you might look there for starters.

If you have Vegas Movie Studio but uninstalled it when you installed Pro, maybe Cinescore was uninstalled too. I still have VMS installed alongside my Pro install and both work fine.

I'm not seeing Cinescore as a separate item on the Sony website, so I think you must own VMS to get it. Having said that, there may be other musical applications you can use to insert music into you DVD-A Pro menus such as Sound Forge.

I cannot get Cinescore to run at all in DVDA Pro 5.2, It pops up with the plugin not found error messege whenever I try to use it..I have no problems when using DVDA Pro 5.0 or 32Bit Vegas 10 Pro... Cinescore comes right up...
I have tried reinstalling Cinescore and DVDA 5.2 Pro but still no luck..Not sure how you are able to get it to work 5.2 Pro ....

I have the same problem "The plug-in to generate music could not be found on your system."

Cinescore has been discontinued, I understand.

Me too!

I had not noticed this. Though not a particular show-stopper for me, I am curious to know what has happened here as it might be useful for future use. I appreciate that Cinescore has been discontinued, however, as it appears DVDA 5.2 was meant to still work with Cinescore - the fact that 'Insert generated music' is there in DVDA 5.2 should mean that it will work.

I have just tested again with DVDA 5.0b and Cinescore works fine there so clearly the plug-in was fine in that version, and, maybe, would even work with 5.2 - if only I knew what the plug-in file name is. I am waitng to remove VPP 9 and DVDA 5.0b from my machine as I have just given the software away and awaiting the assignee advising me that they have sucessfully loaded and registered it. I think I had better wait until a solution is forthcoming.

Perhaps soemone out there has a better idea than me - so over to the better informed than me.
