I've been editing with Vegas Pro since v3.
In that time many systems and techniques have evolved and/or disappeared.
Now I I have an archive question.
A - I always used to have TWO DRIVES FOR ANY JOB - a source and an archive. Through the years I have accumulated dozens of TB's of data on 50 or more hard drives.
B - With the "cheap" cost of storage, I began to stack various archives on 3TB drives. Thus, my "one to one" archvies concept has changed to "one to bigger arhive drives with multiple sources".
That better financially, but with revisions somethimes years apart, it's become complicated.
SO -
Can anyone recommend backup software that will analyse existing files on my Archive drive and then only copy the newer files, avoiding duplication? (I do keep each job in a separate folder on my archive drives.
System is PC based and I am still running Win7 (sometimes 8) on a PC.
Thanks in advance and I "Hi'Yall" to my old time buddies - you know who you are.
