Are there any new updates for Vegas MS 6?

I just bought the Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 6.0 build 43.
But I am not able to capture from analog sources like analog camcorder and a VCR.

If I use my old WIN DVD CREATOR, everything works fine in there.
I use Plaxtor digital video converter.

I tried un-installing WIN DVD CREATOR, but it didn’t help.

Do I need any current updates for my Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 6.0?

I don't think you can do analog capture directly into the Vegas MS software.
I even have a SONY Vaio computer with analog inputs, and it can not use those inputs.
DV capture only in other words. (Probably what 95% of the users do anyway)

You need to use your other capture program and capture to AVI and then use those files for editing in Vegas MS.

Once you get there. you'll love the software. This is a great forum for support.

I used to have a DC10plus capture card for capturing analog video to my computer and was able to use the Movie Studio capture program with it. I also used VirtualDub (a free ware program) that also worked really well and had settings to keep video and audio in sync.
