arm for record button

I am missing the "arm for record" button on the standard Vegas window on all audio tracks but the button is present and works fine in the mixing console window. This just happened, was there Sunday... was missing Monday. Defaulted my options to no avail and just installed Vegas 8c, same thing. Any ideas on what caused this? Thank you for any input.

Well, this button will not show if the boundary between your track settings and track view is too far to the left.

FIND the boundary between the two, drag it to the right, and VIOLA!, the "Arm for Record" button appears if as by magic!

Also, the "Arm for Record" button shows clear as can be when I load the default view; are you sure you're looking at an audio track?
Or did you just hide it and save your project? Or did you remove your active audio device?

If it was working and now all of the sudden is not, try resetting the application:

Thanks ... you folks solved it.... just a little kick to the right revealed the buttons.... I must have 100's of hours working in Vegas and never ran into that before. I must have jogged it to the left just enough to hide the button when I created a region to render. Funny how it affected all other projects but makes sense now. Thanks again! I owe you a beer... err, I mean an Earl Grey Tea.
