I run MSP16 on two machines and was puzzled as to why my Corsair headset with mic would only work on one of them.

It turns out that you have to change the privacy settings in Windows 10, allowing desktop programs to access the microphone, which is not something that would normally have occurred to me.

Just type in 'privacy' in Windows 10 settings and make the changes. I also ramped up the volume of the mic because it was at about 10%.
