Aspect ration and Borders

My project is 980 w x 320h.
I have 5 video clips which are 16:9 to show on screen at same time (kind of like a DVD Menu)
I want to put borders (using Sony Border) on the clips, but the borders all come out 980x320 and there's no resize function.
Vegas Pro 13

Any clues ?

I know it may be annoying,,but I love when I find solutions to my own problems and can share them with others.,,,

It seems the TRACK EFFECT takes the aspect of the project (at least for my settings) and the EVEN EFFECT will take that events aspect ratio...which in hindsite makes a lot of sense (for example if I had 2 events different aspects on the same track...DUH!)

Assuming you are using Pan/Crop to shrink down your 5 images, in the Video Event FX Window, look at the FX chain 2nd line - directly below where it says "Video Event FX" and simply drag the box saying "Border" to the to the left of the Pan/Crop box.

EDIT: We cross posted:
The Track FX chain is similar - drag the border to the left of Composite and it will affect the resized image, drag it to the right and it will take on the dimensions of the project.
