assigning key functions

i asked a couple of days ago and did get the answer to go to keyboard in preferences, but i still don't see how to assign letter "I" as the key that will activate a cut in the timeline. How can this be done?

Options - Preferences - go to the Keyboard tab

Change the "context" to "TrackView"

Where it says: "Press new shortcut keys", press I

In the "Available Commands", select "Edit.Split" and then assign it. Click on OK and you're done.
