Subject says it all. I'm sure there's already a post on this forum somewhere, so please direct me to it.
I captured some video in Vegas 5.0d. I thought I would have to pull some tricks to get vegas to recognize that I had composite plugged into my ATI Radeon 7200, but my VHS feed was waiting for me there in the preview window. So I went ahead, in non-advanced capture, and captured two 55 second clips. Great!
When I got back to the timeline and preview interface, the videos (unknown 001.avi and 002.avi) were there in the media pool. Dragging the media into the timeline pulled only an audio track, and no video track. So I looked at the properties, and it says the audio is fine, but the video is "offline". So I went back to the capture interface, where my two clips are still on the list. I double click them to preview the clips, and they preview fine in 'print-to-tape'. I can also play the files in media player, jetAudio, etc. Checking the properties in the capture area shows me that their video format is:
29.97 Sony YUV Codec.
So where is the problem arising?
