Atomos 4K files in Vegas?

I'm using an Atomos Ninja Inferno and cannot play my 4K DNxHD recorded files in Vegas 13 or the Vegas 15 trial. I have the Avid codecs LE installed on my system. Is this format not compatible with Vegas?

Are these MXF or MOV files? Vegas Pro does only accept MOV wrapped DNxHD.

Ah, you said it's 4k. Then it's DNxHR, not DNxHD, right?

I think DNxHR does not work at all in Vegas Pro, not sure though. At least you would need to install another codec (DNxHR).

I would think so but on the Atomos menu it calls it DNxHD even when set to 4k.

I'd say the Atomos display is wrong then and it is DNxHR. You would need to have DNxHR installed then but if it is MXF wrapped I doubt it will work in Vegas Pro.
