Audio

I have Movie Studio 15.0 and I am going to Export my TimeLine to a Video Format.

To the Left of the Audio Track I Set the Left and Right Slider to Center and it tells me when I am in the Center.

Alsow to the Left of the Audio Track is a Volume Slider and I try to Set this in the Center as well.

The Volume Slider does not tell me when it is in the Center and it is hard to tell.

As I move the Volume Slider it gives me a Number like -1.9 dB and so on.

What Number do I Set the Volume Slider at to be in the Center?

Thanks for all the help.

There is no natural "center" for volume. Normally, '0.0' would be ok when you are not mixing multiple audio tracks. If you have meters visible, you would watch for the loudest parts being below -3.0 or -6.0 db, depending on whether you are sending your finished product to anyone that cares. Crank the volume up or down if it is too low or high. If the volume goes above "0" on the meter (there will be a red indicator at the top of the meter), it will likely get distorted and sound bad.

I move the Volume Slider up and it goes -10.4 dB then -6.8 dB I Set it on 0.0 what is this going to do?

My Video has no Sound FX or anything like this.

The Video is a Home Movie from my Digital Camcorder so what does that Setting of 0.0 on the Volume Slider do?
