Unless you went out of your way to cause this to happen, the audio from your movie shouldn't start with the menu - only with the movie.

On the menu properties, check to make sure you haven't accidentally included the audio from the movie on your menu.

My immediate response to this was, "You can't," until I realized I'm not sure I understand the question. Could you explain in more detail what you want to happen, what's happening instead, and how you got to where you are?

Do you have separate audio and video files for your main movie? Sounds like you accidentally added the audio track as backbround media to the main menu. If so, simply delete the audio background media from the menu.
