Audio and Video not grouping anymore

HI, In the past I've been able to 'drag and shorten' the audio and video together, but somehow my audio track has gone 'pink' and I can no longer group them together. Every time I try to shorten or edit I can't get both the audio and video track to edit together... I'm sure I've done a setting or something.. and yes I have tried different files and I've tried ungrouping and regrouping..

Help? Ideas? Thanks

You probably have "ignore event grouping" enabled. It's a button above the timeline that has a padlock in it. Try turning this off and see if it helps.

The pink indicates that the audio & video are no longer in sync, probably because you trimmed the beginning of one and not the other. Right-mouse-button click on the one that's wrong and choose "Synchronize". Not sure if you'll need to use slipping or moving, but which ever one you choose you can adjust afterwards if necessary.
