AUDIO captured at 32,000 hz

where can i change the setting withing the capture window to tell vegas to capture audio at either 44,000 hz or 48,000 hz? Currently, it seems to capture at 32,000 Hz.

IF you're capturing via firewire your stuck, that's what's on the tape.

However there's a problem with Vidcap. If you start capturing where the tape is blank then the VCR/camera may send DV with 32KHz audio and Vidcap will lock to that even when you do get the 48KHz audio. I've reported and complained about this many times. Yes, it's easy enough to work around but it's a BIG trap for new players.

So never use the Capture Tape option in Vidcap. Hit the Play icon, wait until you get vision and then hit the Record icon.
