audio cd track titles - how to show in windows media player

Ok...using vv3. I'm running dry on ideas of how to make my audio track titles appear in windows media player. I must be missing something obvious. I have "layed out audio from CD events", the track indices exist above each track...the titles are there...but when I burn I get a beautiful audio cd in which the track listings appear as track 1, track 2, etc. instead of "my first song title" "my next song title".

Please set me straight.

Thanks :)

have you seen track names listed before in Window Media player before? with commercial CD's WMP can hit a database on the internet to get track names, but AFAIK there isn't support for that functionality within a normal audio CD.

hmmm...yes...wmp always shows track titles for "store bought" cd's. I'm not copying/ripping a store bought cd though...so there will be no internet database for me. I'm REALLY surprised....so...if I understand correctly...vv3 can NOT write audio CD's with the track titles. Is this correct?

Thanks for your response. :)

Before rendering the file, insert the title in the summary section of properties.

ok! I'll give that a try (not at that pc right now). Sounds like that will give me the title of the cd. Will it (or is there a way to) display each individual track title?
