Audio correction

I'm new to this product and afraid it's way over my head at the moment. I captured from a VHS that had a section of audio that didn't match the video by about 1 second. I'm trying to figure out how to move the audio to match up with the video. I've seen postings on grouping but can't seem to get it separate from the video. Any help would be appreciated.

The trick is that captured video and audio tracks are automatically grouped to keep them together. Just right-click on the audio event and remove it from the group. Then you can zoom in on the timeline and click-drag to move it until it's synched to the video.

And to remove it from the group, press U. Once you've got it lined up select both the audio and video and press G to group them again.

Thank you for the help. I made those adjustment and leveled out the audio vol. I burned this morning and have audio for the first 6 minutes and then nothing. There is audio on my original file.

Thanks
