Audio Distortion on mpeg1 render

Still having a issue with mpeg1 rendered audio. It's a track of a person singing - gets very distorted and "peaks out".

I use the default settings for the audio - the Preview in Vegas sounds great and in the Audio Preview window it's not topping out into any orange or red areas.

can you post a sample of it somewhere ? along with your render settings and veg file ?

Strange thing - played the file in another media player (VLC) and the audio in not distorted!

I don't play stuff in WMP 9 for the same reason. Real Player is excellent!
