Yep. Real easy.

Just burn a CD and then rip it back into your computer.

I keep a CD-RW around for just such purpose.

When you say rip it back to your computer, is that the same as copy and paste??? If not, how do you do it???

I downloaded 4 pieces of music from MSN Music to import ( less than 30 seconds each as fill in) to the Vegas Movie Studio 4.0 Build 42.

I did try your suggestion as posted (copy & paste) but when I tried to import, it came back with an error: 0x800a0026 (missing message)

I appreciate your help. Thank you.

I haven't used Movie/Vegas Studio in a while, but i believe under File there should be an option to "Extract audio from CD". This will transfer audio tracks from the CD to .WAV files on your hard drive and drop them in the media pool.

You were exactly right. I stressed over the problem trying to figure it out myself. It is a relief to find out how to do it and now it works great!Thank you so much!!!
