Hi, just tried my first video project with this software, an approximate 20-minute video featuring jpegs with accompanied mp3's and various transitions. I output the video to my mini-DV camcorder after rendering. At random spots in the video, the music dropped out (no sound at all). Video was unaffected.
I'm used to having to tweak (Pinnacle convert) so before I did anything else I divided the video up into a series of approximate 5-minute segments and rendered and produced each one separately. Problem went away, so I was able to complete the project (Church Senior Banquet).
Must say I am disappointed though, because I was hoping to get away from stability issues, especially the kind that you don't know about until producing the final product.
If anyone has any insight as to why I experienced the audio drop-outs in the 20-minute video, that went away when I broke it into smaller chunks, I would appreciate any help you can give. Thanks.
