Audio Dropped Please Help

I just captured a basketball game in DV and dropped it on the timeline. Wehn I rendered it, about 1/3 of the way thru, suddenly the audio dropped. I didn't realize this until I burned the DVD and played it. This has happened on other occasions (sometimes in HDV) and it may involve a sigle clip out of many on the timeline. If I create a subclip of the single clip, it will render correctly. Any ideas as to what may be happening? Thanks!

If you are referring to split second audio flatlines that are visible when you zoom in on the timeline it is one of the problems that never got resolved in any of the Vegas versions. People have compained about it for years.

I usually recapture to resolve it. Time consuming and annoying, but it works.

If you are referring to consistent audio dropouts in MANY places in the video that is an entirely different matter and is not "normal" for Vegas.

Here are some of Sony's suggestions.
