During a recent editing session my audio went quite then after several seconds it came back. I thought this was odd and played over the timeline again and the same thing happened. I checked a few things and there is no audio envelope inserted, I then shut the program down and restarted. Everything came back and worked as normal.... then it happened again, so I rendered the same portion and it renders the audio the same. (hear it then silence)

Does this make sense and has anybody else had the same experience. I have upgraded to 8.0c.
