Audio Edit

In the User Guide, I noticed the diagram in "What is a track?" seem to indicate that the volumes on the Music and Sound Tracks can be manually adjusted - very similar to what I could do in Pinnacle Studio8. But when I get onto MS4, I can't seem to find any controls that allow me to vary the volume at will - I tried right-clicking on the volume while dragging the volume ... but nothing seems to happen.

Have I missed anything?

On each audio track, there's a volume control, which is to adjust the volume of the audio on the track.
if you want to vary the volume at will, select the audio track, right-click on the track and insert volume envelope or click 'V' on your keyboard. double click on the envelope to get nodes to adjust.

Better yet, activate your audio envelope (the volume envelope). Then you will be able to adjust the volume at various places throughout your entire movie by double-clicking on the audio line that runs through the audio track to create a point and then moving that point higher or lower on the track.

How do you get the volume envelope inserted.
