Audio Fadeout

In Vegas 8, is there a way to fade out the audio but not fade it completely to 0 but to a lower level I choose?

Insert / Audio Envelopes / Volume. This puts a thin blue line all the way through the track. Double-click on that line to add "nodes". You can then drag the nodes up or down to adjust the volume.
