Audio FX appear automatically on new track...

There is undoubtedly a very simple reason why this happens (as all things in VV3...) but I can't for the life of me find out why or get rid of this phenomenum...Each time I insert a new audio track on the timeline, 3 audio fx (can't list them as yet because I'm not in front of my PC at the mo') appear at track level. The funny thing is I have never inserted audio fx before! and it is a bit of a pain having to remove them manually each time...

Anyone shed any light on this and point me in the right direction to change the settings at track level so that new projects are nice and clean?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Paul.

Set the FXs and adjustments that you want to be your default. Right-click on the track head (far left). Click Select Default Track Properties. Next time you start a new audio track you get your own settings.

FWIW, the Vegas default audio FX are set to unity... they have no effect unless you adjust them. You don't need to remove them.
