Audio goes out of synch on one specific computer.

Hello !

To summarize my situation, I started using the trial version of Vegas Pro last month, and I purchased the full version this Monday (21/10). Throughout the entire trial period and even after buying the full version, I've been experiencing an issue with the audio in my videos, but only on one computer. The audio goes out of sync, and I have no idea why.

To explain further, if I let the video play continuously, there are no problems. However, whenever I move around the video (click anywhere on the timeline), the audio goes out of sync by about 1-5 seconds, and it does not correct itself.

To troubleshoot, I tested my version of Vegas Pro on two additional computers, and it worked perfectly fine on both. This leads me to believe the issue is with my computer, but I haven't been able to identify the cause. If anyone has any suggestions or solutions, I would greatly appreciate the help.

Additionnal information :

Vegas Pro version : Vegas Pro 22.0
Windows version : Windows 11 on the computer i've been having trouble with, and the two others are Windows 10 and 11
Drivers : Drivers should be all up to date as of yesterday (I tried to update everything i could see)
Evil computer specs : AMD 7700X / DDR5 32GB / RX7800XT / SSD 2TO / GIGABYTE B650M AORUS Elite AX ICE. (The other computers have better AND worse specs than that. (Hence using them for the troubleshoot)
Video Format : MKV, and tried in MP4 (Same video). And the problem is consistant with different videos.
Other info : Everytime, i did reset the factory settings on Vegas Pro before trying to find the problem so all the versions are the same.

If you need any other information, please ask me and i'll try to answer as fast as possible.

PS : Sorry if my english is not perfect, i'm not a native speaker.

As a diagnostic technique, have you tried re-encoding you source video to another format in Handbrake or Shutter Encoder?

Also, do the three computers have the same video card and drivers?

I recorded it in MKV and re-encoded it in MP4 but not yet in other format. Which format do you recommend?

The three computers have three different video cards (if you're refering to the GPU) and all the drivers are up to date on those computers.

@Timeismypast said: "Which format do you recommend?"

Try Apple Pro Res if you have the disk space.

I don't think I can change it to this format, I don't have the space.

But I don't know if it would help me with my problem as I already tried different formats.

Also, on the computer i've been having trouble with, the other software like Shotcut and ClipChamp don't have this problem. So it is only on Vegas Pro.
