Audio in menu starts at wrong point

I added audio to my menu. It begins with a nice fade up, and when previewing, that's how it is. But burned dvds start abruptly somewhere in the middle of the piece. I don't see any markers along the menu timeline. I've rebooted. I've deleted the audio and added it again. All efforts were futile. Please, any help? I don't want to delay getting my client her dvds, but I hate giving out something that isn't right. Thanks!

This may not be the problem, but here is an idea FWIW:

There is a loop setting kind of hidden on the left side of the audio timeline (select the menu that has the audio and then select the timeline). If it has been nudged or moved, the audio will loop at a different location, as shown below:

Also, is it set as the Introduction Media, or is it simply attached to the menu as shown above?

Thanks, John. I solved the problem. It turned out that it wasn't Architect at all but rather my dvd player. For whatever reason, it starts the video immediately, but waits 6 or 8 seconds to start playing the audio. I tried the dvds on a different player and it was fine. I'm glad I hadn't yet thrown away the 10 dvds I thought were no good! Thanks again.

My old Pioneer DV-525 does things like this sometimes. I should have remembered to ask you to play it on another player. Glad you don't have to re-do anything.
