my audio on specific files is delayed and out of sync, all video clips are recorded with the same settings & the same encoder. I've seen a fix on 15/16 where it required to disable S04 compound reader for AVC but this isnt an option on Vegas 19. any suggestions?
That is an option in 19, it's now in preferences/ file io "enable legacy AVC decoder."
The file itself may be fine when played in a normal player, the problem just occurs when brought back into Vegas.
This did fix the problem on my Vegas 19, i just updated to 20 and applied the same fix you mentioned above and im still getting an audio delay on all clips that i import to my timeline. ill link photos showing the settings, for now ive been using davinci resolve but i would like to fix this. thank you for your help!

i am recording in HEVC and not AVC. is this possibly my issue?
