I'm confused on how to dynamically mix the volumes of audio tracks. With Adobe Premier's audio mixer one could adjust the sliders of the mixer controls and apply volume envelopes to the tracks easily and dynamically. Can one do this with Vegas 4? I was trying out all different combinations of the bus and volume envelopes, but it doesn't appear that one can dynamically change the shape of a track's envelope by moving the sliders up and down in real time? Am I incorrect, or do you have to alter volumes by physically adding points to the envelopes and using one's mouse to raise and lower each section. Certainly I understand that one can raise the entire volume of a track by using the volume tools, but how does one raise certain parts of the track without manually adjusting the envelope?
Thanks,
Marc
